Brockville School

In 2021 we were engaged by Mitre10 to work with them and their Helping Hands team to build fantastic new playgrounds for six lucky schools. This incredibly generous gift has enabled these schools to give their current and future students amazing play spaces that they will use for many years to come.
At Playground People we are super passionate about providing great quality playgrounds for our New Zealand schools. In working with Mitre10, we have found a partner who is equally as passionate about giving back to their local communities.

Brockville School in Dunedin had to demolish three older playgrounds due to safety issues and they were having trouble raise funds for new equipment. Mitre 10 came to the rescue by providing a fantastic new senior playground that offers plenty of challenges and thrills to help the children with their physical and cognitive development, the kids are over the moon with it!
The new playground will benefit the senior students and the wider Dunedin community, providing a safe space for them to play and exercise outside the classroom. The installation was a team effort involving Mitre 10 Helping Hands, Playground People, and Mitre 10 MEGA Dunedin. Mitre 10 MEGA Dunedin's Group CEO, Neil Finn-House, expressed his delight in being able to contribute to the community.
