Reporoa School
In 2001 we made Reporoa School’s senior playground for them. All these years later it is still going strong and getting plenty of daily use. So, when the school needed to upgrade their old timber play fort they asked us to create a new fort-style structure that would include much more play value and be built with the same lasting quality as their senior playground.
We created the Citadel for them! Fitting the school’s available space perfectly, the Citadel is a thoughtful reinterpretation of the classic Kiwi school fort with the same solid timber aesthetic. With a full play circuit made up of balance and climbing challenges, slides and plenty of elevated socialising space, the Citadel has been a hit with the school.
Principal Richelle McDonald says ”The playground People were so easy to work with and were prompt at responding. They really listened to our needs and came up with something unique for our school. Our students love it and use it all of the time. The community also love using our playground out of hours and on the weekend”
