The new senior play space at Ss Peter & Paul School in Lower Hutt is one of 10 school playgrounds that we have installed in and around Wellington over the last two years. The playground is located in the middle of the school right next to existing buildings, removal of the existing equipment and reinstatement of the site could have been problematic but the School was fortunate to have PTA dad Brian Hutchinson on hand to put in a huge effort clearing the site ready for the new playground equipment.
In the new play space the school was looking for a challenging but fun structure capable of meaningfully occupying large numbers of their older pupils during their breaks, one of our popular senior double circuit playgrounds was just the ticket. For additional cooperative fun and dynamic thrills the play space also has a Kompan Supernova and Ace Basket Swing, creating a vibrant play area that has proven to keep the kids on the move!
Principal Kay Tester says:
Our whole community is loving our new playground. It’s well-balanced with just the right amount of challenge and fun.
